Tragic News

From the mom:

Sometime yesterday while the family was away Pete got out of the house and disappeared. We had left the kitchen window open a small crack to let the air circulate because it was going to be over 100 degrees. We think Pete managed to jump up to the window sill and squeeze through the small opening :( He was last spotted around 6 pm last night at the apartment complex across the street from our home. My hope is that one of the little children picked Pete up and took him home. We have posted notices with Pete's picture and offered a reward for his return. Please keep him in your thoughts and hope for his safe return.
sadly,
the mom

If there is a playground or park in the area, get your pawrents to talk to the kids. They usually know a lot about what is going on, and they can spread the word pretty effectively.

Who knows, one of them might have taken Pete home as a stray.
